Why We Built the Epic Men’s Odin Knit

When we designed the Odin Knit, the target was the lightest, most breathable shoe we could put on a lane without giving up a real slide. The knit upper we landed on is so light and airy that more than one tester told us it barely feels like wearing a shoe.

Under that upper we kept the slide honest: a fixed E8 microfiber slide sole for a consistent, controlled glide, an Epic-Traction push-off that grips the approach, and our Cellular Sole Technology adding comfort through the base, all at a price that stays reasonable.

How the Epic Men’s Odin Knit Slides

You slide on the foot opposite your bowling hand. The Odin Knit is a right-handed shoe, so the fixed E8 microfiber slide sole sits on the left foot for a consistent, controlled glide, and the Epic-Traction sole sits on the right foot for a stable plant.

Fixed, Dependable, Frame After Frame

We fixed the E8 microfiber slide sole in place so your slide reads the same every single time. No pads to swap, nothing to adjust, just a dependable, controlled glide from the first frame on.

The push-off foot gets our Epic-Traction sole for grip into the slide step, set on a non-marking rubber outsole with a raised U-Rubber heel area for traction and stability on the approach.

The Knit Upper and Cellular Sole

We wove the knit upper for airflow and natural flex: ultralight, highly breathable, lined with fabric and finished with a padded collar. If your feet run hot during long sessions, this is the shoe we built for you.

Cellular Sole Technology builds cushioning into the base of the shoe itself, and the molded removable blown EVA footbed adds a second layer of comfort that lasts through a long night.
