Why We Built the Epic Apollo Dial Comfort
The Apollo is our premium kangaroo-leather shoe, and the Royal White is how we make that experience reachable: the same kangaroo upper and Epic Dial closure as the flagship kit, delivered ready to bowl with one slide sole and one heel installed.
We built it for the bowler who wants the best materials on their feet without buying the full four-sole kit on day one. The slide foot is fully interchangeable, so you can add soles and heels to your bag whenever you are ready.
How the Epic Apollo Dial Comfort Slides
You slide on the foot opposite your bowling hand. The Apollo is a right-handed shoe, so the interchangeable slide sole and heel sit on the left foot for a controlled glide to the line, and the right foot gets a non-marking rubber push-off sole with a reinforced toe cap for a stable, powerful plant.
Ready Out of the Box, Expandable Over Time
The Royal White ships with one slide sole and one heel installed, so it is ready to bowl the day it arrives. When the approach changes, the sole and heel pop off and swap in about a minute: more glide for a sticky house floor, more grip for a slick tournament pattern.
The mounts are cross-brand compatible, with light trimming if needed, so pads you already own will work, and you can build out your kit at your own pace.
Why We Use Kangaroo Leather
Kangaroo leather is about ten times stronger than cowhide and half again stronger than goatskin, at a lower weight. That is why we chose it for the Apollo upper: it holds its shape and fit through the repeated stress of the approach and stays comfortable over a long block.
The single Epic Dial closure micro-adjusts to an even, precise hold with one twist, no laces to retie. Inside, a full mesh lining wicks heat and moisture, the collar and tongue are padded for support, and a reinforced non-marking toe cap shrugs off the drag wear of the finish.

Dialing In Your Slide
The installed sole and heel suit most approaches out of the box. As you bowl more houses, add a grippier pad for slick tournament patterns and a slicker one for tacky floors; the mount takes cross-brand pads with a little trimming.
Fit and Sizing
The Apollo fits true to size, so order your normal street size, or go down a half size for a snugger, more consistent slide. Unisex sizing runs men’s 4 through 13 (women’s 5.5 through 14.5) in standard width.
Care
Wipe the kangaroo leather with a soft, dry cloth, keep the slide sole off carpet and away from debris, and use the included cover on the slide foot whenever you step off the approach.
