Our Workhorse Dial Shoe, in Lights
Why We Built the Epic Thor Dial Spectrum
The Spectrum is what happened when our design team asked what the Thor Dial would look like if it turned heads. Underneath, it is the same shoe we trust for seasons of league play: micro-adjustable Epic Dial closure, replaceable slide sole, durable build. On top, a reflective hot-melt design catches the house lights and makes sure nobody misses it.
One twist of the dial locks even tension across your foot, no laces to retie mid-block, and when the slide sole wears down you swap the pad, not the shoe.
How the Epic Thor Dial Spectrum Slides
You slide on the foot opposite your bowling hand. The Thor Dial Spectrum is a right-handed shoe, so we put the removable slide sole on the left foot for a controlled glide to the line, and a non-marking rubber push-off sole on the right foot so you can plant hard and finish balanced.
Swap the Pad, Keep the Shoe
We install a B3 slide sole at the factory, our average-slide pad, because it handles the widest range of approaches. It is removable and cross-brand compatible: run something grippier on slick tournament shots, something slicker on tacky house floors, or drop in a fresh B3 when yours wears out.
The heel stays fixed by design. A consistent heel means stable footing every time, and it keeps the slide sole as the one variable you tune. Replacement pads may need light trimming, a few minutes of work for any pro shop.
The Reflective Upper, the Dial, and the Support
The performance faux leather upper carries patent faux-leather inlays plus the reflective hot-melt design that gives the Spectrum its name. It is the detail people notice from three lanes over, and it changes nothing about how the shoe holds up: the upper keeps its shape through the repeated stress of your approach.
The Epic Dial closure tightens with one twist and holds uniform tension with no pressure points, while our Power Flex EPIC EVA midsole with dura-flex channels and an external molded TPU heel stabilizer keep you comfortable and balanced at the line.

From the Epic Team: Getting the Most From the Epic Thor Dial Spectrum
Dialing In Your Slide
Start on the B3 we install, it suits most houses. Sliding too far on slick lanes? Step down to a grippier pad. Sticking on tacky approaches? Go slicker. The mount is cross-brand compatible, so pads you already own will fit with a little trimming.
Fit and Sizing
The Spectrum fits true to size, so order your normal street size, or go down a half size for a snugger, more consistent slide. Unisex sizing runs men’s 6 through 15 in standard width.
Care
Keep the slide sole off carpet and away from debris, wipe it clean after you bowl, and store the shoes in the included bag between sessions.
Not sure about sizing or slide setup? Ask us. We design and test every Epic shoe ourselves, and we are happy to point you to the right pair before you order.
