The Clean Length of the Ignite Line
Why We Made the Epic Ignite Pearl
The Ignite Pearl is the length-and-control member of our Ignite line. Same symmetric Epic Spark Core as the Solid, but wrapped in our Epic Fire Pearl Reactive cover, so it clears the front of the lane cleaner and saves its energy for a smooth, controllable move on the backend.
If the Solid is the early reader, the Pearl is the closer: it shines as lanes dry out and you need the ball to hold its energy longer. A genuinely stronger reactive that still reads smooth and predictable, in a design that stands out on the rack.
Inside the Epic Ignite Pearl: Core and Cover
We built the Ignite Pearl for clean length and a controllable backend on dry to medium oil. The symmetric Epic Spark Core adds real flare for an actual hook, while the Fire Pearl Reactive cover at a 1500-grit polish reads later than the Ignite Solid and holds energy for a smooth move down lane.
The Spark Core: Real Flare, Even Roll
The Epic Spark Core is shared across the whole Ignite line: real track flare for an actual hook, in a symmetric design that keeps the motion smooth and predictable.
Pairing that core with a pearl cover is what gives the Pearl its personality. Same engine as the Solid, but the energy is held later, for a cleaner read through the fronts and a controllable backend.
A Pearl Cover That Saves Its Energy
We wrap the Spark Core in our Epic Fire Pearl Reactive coverstock at a 1500-grit polish. The pearl additive and polished surface let the ball conserve energy through the front of the lane, so it travels cleaner than the Solid and then makes a smooth, controllable move off the friction.
That clean read and easy backend make the Pearl the right call on drier conditions and the back half of a block. Leave it polished for length, or have your pro shop take the surface down for an earlier, smoother read on more oil.

Where It Fits in Your Bag
The Ignite Pearl is the clean, longer-reading sibling of the Ignite Solid. They share the Spark core, but the Pearl reads later with a smoother backend. Start the night on the Solid on fresh oil, then move to the Pearl as the lane dries and you want more length.
Surface Adjustments
The 1500-grit polish gives the Pearl its clean length and smooth backend. Have your pro shop take the surface down for an earlier read on more oil, or keep it polished for length on drier lanes.
Coverstock Care
Wipe the Epic Fire Pearl cover with an approved reactive ball cleaner after every session and deep clean it periodically. A fresh cover preserves the clean length this ball is built around.
