Why We Made the Be Epic
The Be Epic is where our line starts, and we refused to make it boring. It is a first ball and a spare ball in one: a simple 3-Piece Core inside a durable polyester cover, dressed in the boldest designs we make. It rolls straight, it lasts for years, and it costs what a first ball should.
Plastic is the least aggressive cover material there is, and that is the point. The ball goes exactly where you aim it, on any oil pattern, which makes it perfect for learning the game and for picking off single-pin and corner-pin spares.
Inside the Be Epic: Core and Cover
We designed the Be Epic to do two things without fail: go straight and look great. The simple 3-Piece Core produces essentially no track flare, and the polyester cover generates very little friction with the lane, so the ball holds a true, predictable line no matter what the oil is doing.
A Core That Refuses to Hook
We put a simple, low-flare 3-Piece Core inside the Be Epic because a first ball and a spare ball should resist hooking. With essentially zero track flare, the ball holds a true line straight down the lane, every shot.
That predictability is the whole value: throw the same straight shot every time and trust it to arrive. It is the easiest ball to learn with and the one you reach for when a ten pin is standing.
Polyester: Low Friction, High Durability
We finish the Be Epic in durable polished polyester with a design that stands out on any rack. Polyester creates very little friction with the lane, so the ball ignores the oil, pushes straight through the fronts, and goes where you aim it.
That is exactly why plastic is the standard for new bowlers and spare shooting. It is also extremely durable, so a Be Epic keeps rolling straight and looking sharp for years.
